  • We saw this sign in a restaurant in Manchester when we were out meeting clients in the city last week, and it got us thinking about call-to-actions. Yes, we marketers rarely switch off. Just because the sign says ‘walk this way’ in bright shiny lights, you automatically feel compelled to walk this way, simply because the sign is telling you to do so. The same applies to call-to-actions on your marketing materials, which is why it’s so important to use them. Generally, we humans are very simple creatures and if we’re told to do something, we’ll do it. Small touches such as ‘click here’ buttons and ‘call us’ stickers can certainly up your amount of sales and enquiries, just because you’ve nudged your customers in the right direction. Trust us, calls-to-action matter.
