    This is the Langenus “Studies for Acquiring a Light Staccato” for articulation! Usually I start at a slow tempo and work it up to max daily tempo (ie. the fastest you can articulate cleanly each day). This will vary day by day depending on reeds, weather, and just how you’re feeling. •

    Standing on one foot is a fun way to practice! It helps take your focus off the music a little bit and think more about what you’re doing physically. I usually will use this practice technique when I feel like I’m moving around too much when I’m playing. •
