“In this terrifying world, all we have are the connections that we make.” - is a line from BoJack Horseman Season 3, Episode 4 ‘Fish Out of Water’.
One of the best lines I that give words to things I can’t explain (again). I think because I didn’t get the entire relationship thing (friend/acquaintance/partner/business/professional) and I usually tend to somehow mess some of it up without I realized until it’s quite late. And I couldn’t explain why because I don’t think we all can afford time and attention to dive deep in 7 layers of who I am as a person— not even sure if you want to listen. Or if any of it would make any difference?
So these line are just perfect for grounding an explanation. In this dialogue-less episode (I think this is one of the most memorable ep. ever!) - BoJack try to apologize to Kelsey J. (A director that got fired because of him) — where he should’ve apologize back then when the thing happened, but he didn’t. I hope you watch this series; can’t entirely sum it up in short haha.
About the loop: The packet of thin flimsy foil (I shot on iphone) is a representation of every relations and connections I made in my life; it’s not in its best shape. Some of ‘em are intact, the others are tore open and empty.
Made on photoshop — animate on after effects. Sound is ‘Lovesick’ by Potsu.
PSA: this is Salonpas foil package, you guys 🤦♀️

- I used to think those tombstone “over the hill” birthday cards were super cheesy, but the more my bones creak and the floppier my skin gets I realize, OH...IT ME??? That’s ok though, because I’m also happy to grow wiser and care less about the little things. Here’s to celebrating confidence gained from life experience and also becoming less relevant in the eyes of advertisers! 💀🎉⠀
